The unit ships from the factory ready for use with natural gas and can be converted to propane with a few additional conversion steps. The unit features automatic high temperature, low oil pressure and over speed and over crank shut down. It includes a low battery voltage indicator, standard safety fuse and a Type N Nexus controller. The Nexus controller functions include monitoring utility power, triggering the automatic transfer switch, starting and stopping the generator, exercising the generator, and monitoring the generator for any system faults. It combines the voltage regulator, engine control board and battery charger into one single item. It brings more functionality to the generator control for a smarter power solution. Installation of the unit only requires an approved composite mounting pad instead of a concrete poured pad. The unit is UL 2200 Listed and is compatible with ST and SL type transfer switches.
